Children’s Ministry at Faith Bible Church is vital to the overall life of our church. Our programs are designed to allow adults the opportunities to use their spiritual gifts while ministering to and with children of our congregation and community. A well-rounded program has been designed to encourage children to consider how to follow Jesus Christ on a daily basis whether at church, home, school or play. Following are glimpse of our structure to achieve that goal.
“Leaving your baby for the first time can be overwhelming. We would like to assure you that our nursery volunteers have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and their ability to care for all the needs of your infant.
We offer nursery care for ages 0-2 years on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:25 am and at 11:15 am during the Corporate Prayer time.
Please feel free to use our nursing area (located within the nursery) to ensure a quiet, private, comfortable space to feed your baby while listening to our service.”
The preschoolers of our Children’s Ministry is made up of children age 2-5 year old. This group has a single session on Sunday morning, and teachers of these little ones rotate on a monthly basis. Bible stories, activity sheets, songs and playtime are used in the communication of God’s truths to these precious children.
Sunday Morning for Elementary Aged Children
Two worship groups provide age appropriate teaching for our learners in grade K through 5. Both groups spend the first portion of worship in the Sanctuary and move to their classrooms just before Pastor begins his message. Our kindergarten through 2nd graders relive familiar and learn new stories in a survey of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, while children in grades 3 through 5 enjoy a class where the curriculum is aimed at digging deeper into God’s Word.
A brief break between Worship and Sunday School gives the children an opportunity to have a snack (provided by ladies in the church) and to also visit the Children’s Library.
Sunday School classes are available for all the children, using curriculum and teaching techniques that encourage them to take the truths they have learned and apply them to their own life experiences.
